Hi All
Would/could you connecting solar to the engine battery side of your B2B charger, rather than domestic side? So you'd have backup solar engine battery charging if the alternator went down.
Would the voltages work for the B2B automatic switch on/off? Would the B2B operate down at low currents (small panels or cloudy days, say sub 1 A)?
This would be in a LA engine battery, Lifepo4 domestic battery scheme. You'd have to choose the appropriate charge profile (LA/Lifepo4) for the B2B according to which side you're connecting to I guess.
Many thanks
