thinking of getting a "battery saver pro" type thing to keep a dedicated charge to a battery from which the inverter works from,any experiance with these items,advertised in maplins a 5w or 15w all help appreciated?

Get the biggest you can afford as the smallerones just about keep up but wont lat if you have a bilge pump and a small constant leak of water.

Ok as an addition but would be very reluctant to rely on them in an hour of need.
