I agree the HT on top looks ugly and apart this I do accept it doing some windage especially in a marina. The thing is that apparently it is standard so you would have to live with it.
REMOVE the hard top above and you got a nice motor yacht.
I got some numbers for this model and is a completly different mould to the 52 with more full forward sections, and wider beam. The Absolute 50 Fly will also take triple IPS600 as optional so I think the hull shape is different below too.
What will be IMO more of a hit for ABS will be the 43 Fly which has three double cabins lightly smaller to those on this 50 Fly, and has twin IPS500 as standard.

In Italy these Absolutes are pretty adored. I talked with an owner of a three year old 41 who was here locally and he told me that after owning nine boats from US, British and other Italian builders this is so far his best boat.
I thought they had a fan base but never expected so much....

Agree, without the hard top, a fine looking design. Interesting to see how it will convert from the artists desktop

It's got a slight look of the Sealine F46 about it with what looks like a fairly high freeboard and quite bluff bows but it looks like quite a striking design to me but urghh that hardtop is horrible. Whichever stylist sanctioned that should be shot.

Quanto costa?

I'd say 800000 EU plus with 2 x IPS600 units ex taxes.

IMO many if not all rigid tops flybridges to less then 20 metres looks ugly. E
A sure exception are Sportfish boats but there the hard top intigrates quite well with the outriggers and all, and the flybridge is smaller then to modern Euro designs.

.

Well there won't be any UK people buying one then. Thats a lot of money in Sterling for a 50 footer especially from a less well known builder with no history of f/b boats
