So who nicked Sunseeker's boats?

According to today's Torygraph article on Sunseeker http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/industry/engineering/8787808/Sunseeker-yachts-returns-to-an-even-keel.html

And then on top of that a number of boats were sent to a foreign dealer, all on the basis of trust, and that dealer went under. The boats disappeared.”

Anyone know who the dealer was and where the boats went? Any cheap Sunseekers on Ebay recently?

Do you think that these boats do not have GPS trackers?

Luxury boatyard Photo ?

"A 111.5ft Sunseeker yacht in a ......luxury boatyard........"

Now it might be my rubbish eyesight but presume the big piles of aggregate in the background is very very special top end stuff washed in rose water, sold excusively by Prada and only to be used when the drive up to ones residence has unsightly holes which make the Bentley rock about in a very working class way?

Surely that's theft and the boats could be recovered?

Well it would seem like theft but it rather depends on the terms on which the boats were supplied and whether title can be said to have transferred. It sounds like the boats were supplied by SS on consignment which is quite common with manufacturers and dealers who have a longstanding relationship, in which case title would still have resided with SS. However proving title is one thing but finding the boats and going through local legal systems to recover them is quite another thing, especially if the boats were found in E Europe where legal systems can be corrupted

LOL, that must be what they actually mean in the home page of Montenegro Marina by "Yacht-friendly legislation offers some of the most favourable benefits in Europe"...?!? :D
