Hmm, it appears I may have been taken advantage of and the 'someone' who emailed me to tell me it wasn't GC1 may have been taking liberties with my good nature.

Well in many respects I hope it was GC1, or between us* we have managed to 'delete' someone who really needed a few friends.
He may not have come across well but lets face it, he had just invested £50 k into a company and may have lost it.

Would any of us really be at our best during times like that ?
I expect many of us may have been a bit short with any poster who told us our £50k was as good as gone.

I mean, the admin can block an IP address, but it's extremely unlikely that he (or any other poster, for that matter) is using a fixed IP.
Otoh, the admin can see when two usernames are using the same IP.

I dont follow your logic. I don't think any of us knew he has lost £50k - did i miss a post where he explained that he'd suffered that misfortune? Even so, that isn't an excuse for rudeness and he was just plain rude. He has much sympathy from me if he has had a tough time and lost £50k or whatever, but isn't due any apology imho

FWIW, my gut feel is still that he is GC1/Happy/Grumpy. If not, he is a good copy. Ref your last sentence, yes he is able to read it - he has just registered as Eastie34
