Happy Christmas everyone.

Now the wrapping paper has been cleared away what did you all get, lots of new gadgets to play with on the boat?

Me, I got a new sportsboat from my dearest. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Now I can have a go at fast boating like all of you who've got a quick boat already (our Arabesque only does about 7-8 knots). Unfortunately its a toy R/C one but its probably still faster than our main boat, not that we need much speed on the good old non-tidal Thames.

Being only a foot or two long has its advantages too, no expensive marina moorings and with a set of rechargable batteries running costs should be minimal aswell.

Now where can I find a friendly BSS examiner to give it the once over before I use it at the weekend... /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
