Glad to know we're all human. Sounds like the chap was alright so all good.

I bet it was mobo wash that tipped the balance /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The bit about the story I enjoyed most (apart from the obvious fact nobody was harmed!) was;

"The one bit of good news for every local yachtie was that there was a welcoming committee waiting for these guys when they re-entered the Broadwater: the water police!
Suggestion that charges may be laid have been welcomed by everyone, especially after some of the photos indicated that those on board might not have been wearing life jackets or safety harnesses."

These people would rely on the rescue services being prepared to risk their lives to get them out of trouble/save their lives....IMO not sure the term "glad to know we are all human " sums up the foolhardiness of these twits!....

For anyone who didn't see full story... clicky clicky!

Got caught in a Squaddie 55 entering Dover in an F8. Seacat belted across the bows some way off but then it was a wave on wave episode. Its that what go up must come down moment. Down we go.....judder, judder, judder and out pops the front...thankfully!! 2 foot of water on the flybridge floor plus some seaweed!!!

The head was well used after that /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I have been waiting for ages for a weather window to get the Princess out of the Gold Coast Seaway and back to Tasmania (938 miles), this sort of rubbish weather has been plagueing this area for months.
