old one, 21 yrs of age, on a KAD 44
1) the duplex would not engage at times, nasty rattle
2) at times the starter did engage but engine not rotating at all (two charged red tops in series, switches, wires all 2017 vintage)
both of those issues fixed with the new starter
start time during the summer 2 secs, up to 10 secs winter time on the old starter
just now, 3C this am, started within 2 secs, perfect
would a new starter just turn the KAD better too ? guess so
