So, broker or no broker?

She looks great, but she is a very British centric boat priced in £ Sterling and based in a euro zone. With the weak euro she will look too expensive to euro buyers. In euros she is 110,000 euro. Recent sales have been around the 80,000 euros mark for euro zone based Oceanlords being sold to euro buyers.

If you are in a hurry your best bet is to get her back here or bite the bullet and price in euros.

Not sure where you can find a 1996 Oceanlord for €110,000
New advert with Apollo Duck as forumers have suggested.

Regardless of UK Pounds or Euros this is a lot of boat for the price - yes I am bias as I know what she cost and what has been done to her to keep her in tip top condition.

All the other Oceanlords, admittedly older than yours on the market are at substantially lower asking prices than yours. In a sense it is irrelevant what it cost you, or (almost) how much you have spent on it. The boat is not well known outside UK and you may have more luck getting people to look at it in the UK, but still have the problem of convincing buyers it is worth over 20% more than others are asking for similar boats.

Well its on Yachtworld and appears to be your boat.

Its listed in the headline price at £89,900 which is 111,997.90 EUR
Then in the main copy it is asking £96000 ono which is 119,601.44 EUR

It looks like the broker has left that in by mistake, get him to correct it in the morning as it will be doing you no good like that.

The link from your Apollo Duck ad at £83,584 (107,000 EUR) goes back to a page listing the boat at £86,900 (111,997.90).

It would be better for you if they were all consistent.

She does look to be a nice boat, but the currency is softening the price for buyers paying in euros.

Best of luck though, they are a great blue water choice and the spec looks good with the new upholstery etc.

And none of them have sold at those prices either so the actual market value (as in the price it will actually sell at rather than what the owner would like to receive) is probably lower still.

Worse than that - the headline price says £89,000 (EUR89,900).

If i was a Eurospeaker I would assume that the price was EUR89,900 !

It is this sort of fundamental error which irritates me about some 'professional' brokers.

Have contacted Trafalgar yachts and asked them to correct Yachtworld ad to correct the pricing. Thanks

Sold in November for 101K Euros. New owner would have paid asking price as he had not seen a similar boat in such good condition. But he already has a boat which he had not anticipated selling. He just saw the for sale/AVENDRE sign and fell in love with her. So we agreed on the reduced price. Surveyor did not pick up a single issue. I ended up having a number of offers even one from someone who was going to fly over from the US. However, the boat was sold by then.

Moral of the story - boats do sell if in good condition and fairly priced.
