Hi all

I think I must be one of the people Neptune smiles on from time to time. Why? Well I sit and watch the snow falling feet deep all around the Uk and now its all melting and the rivers are bursting their banks, houses and roads feeet deep in water. Gales drifting the snow into piles, freezing temps. Black ice ,and so on and on. But here,,,,not a flake in sight, a light dusting the other day on the hills that lasted about an hour then it was GONE.

But today for instance I was out on the boat. Spent several hours in fact. The sun was shining, and though the breeze, for that was all it was was a tad cool, after we got to our little bay and just drifted out of the wind, it was warm. The sea was almost flat as the tide turned . you know the old wind over tide thing within about twenty minutes to be exact.

The fish had gone on holiday somewhere else but what the heck, it was just a real pleasure to be out on t the water.

In the harbour there was not a breath of wind, and more of the same for while yet, so the forecasters tell me. But they have been known to lie before this. So I shall look out of the window and judge for myself.

Well. I’m sorry I didn’t take the camera now just to prove a point, so you will just have to take my word for it. But I am sure there is are at least two very nice people over here who will back me up. Would I tell a fib?

Noooooooooooo!!!!!
Happy boating to you all when your boats are freed from the snow and ice than engulfs.
