My new (to me) boat has got snap davits and I'll be able to transport my tender properly at last - if I can find a supplier of the dinghy pads for the davits. I can't find them advertised on their own - only with the davits. Surely people buy new dinghies and just need the pads?

Do you know which make of Snap Davit you have? The fittings are diffrerent for each one.

Best to get some prefessional help here. You need to know what make of davits and as mentioned above material dinghy is made from to ensure the correct adhesive.

I would recommend you speak to Jamie from 'J-Craft' on 07786 541121. He makes quality ribs, repairs and sorts out davit systems. Very helpful and knows his stuff. Using 2 pot adhesives is not for the amateur and you could find your dinghy disappearing of the back of the boat one day.
