I went for the Weaver Snap Davits and had them specially adjusted to fit the boat by Stainless Steel Fabrications. They work every time are very strong (2.65m Dinghy) and are very easy to use.

There is an ad in MBM where someone is doing them at a promotional price.

I've just fitted a pair of IBS snap davits this weekend, a doddle to fit, and very easy to use, can't remark on their lifespan but nothing really to go wrong with them.

I paid £185 and 6 quid for the glue direct from IBS.

If I go back to the boat at the weekend and the things have snapped off I'll let u know!!
