Smoke - cause found

I thought blue smoke from exhaust was due to oil problem on my new engine a few weeks ago. Smoke continued with no change in oil level so looked closer and it seemed whiter than blue, so looked to cooling system.

Was a broken impeller with blade reducing flow at heat exchanger - smoke was steam.

Boating is never without a problem, it seems.
