Smev Oven/grill

Hi,

Hoping someone can help me please. I have inherited a smev oven/grill combi unit and am unsure of its operation (user manual seems a little vague to say the least)

How do you control the oven temperature? ...as when you light mine and then turn the dial up the flame does not increase. Do you have to pull the contol out and turn or something? Also it says in the manual that you can havethe oven and grill on together. If you already have the oven on- you have to go thru the off position to turn the grill on- confused.

Im probably being very dim and have missed something obvious, butany help greatfully recieved!!

The oven on our boat sounds similar.
Light oven.
Leave to run for a bit (? 2 or 3 minutes) then the temperature adjustment should show the flame increasing and decreasing.
