Smart tv on marina wifi or tethered to mobile phone

I'm thinking of buying a smart tv has anyone successfully tried to connect it to the free wifi in a marina or tethered to a mobile phone does anyone know of a 22 inch tv that will run on 12 volts

Kogan have just brought out a 32 inch smart TV that will take 12v or 230v. It looks good - just after I bought their 24 inch model...

Oops - should have read the whole thread before posting...

On the two boats I've owned, anything over 22" would be too big. Moody 44 and 45ft narrowboat.

I read the ideal was 24'' @ 2m, 48'' @ 4m etc for viewing tv.

I meant looking too big for the boat, rather than ideal viewing distances.

I guess I sit about 5ft away from a 22" TV, so it works fine but, if I had a TV at one end of the lounge, and sat at the other end, 12 ft away, a 40" TV would look ridiculous, and probably wouldn't really fit.

Similarly on the Moody 44, 23" was fine, and any bigger would have looked too big.

I can see a big Motorboat with a big wide lounge suiting a 40" TV or bigger.
