The heads in the boat I am fitting out is small and hull side curves down steeply.
I need a low marine toilet which does not have the workings at the back of it.
I have a nice SL 401, but the 11inch height is too much and the workings are behind and cannot be turned to the side. (now for sale.)
I have heard of a lower one, with a separate pump. Can anyone identify a suitable toilet and perhaps even source it for me ?
thanks, Ken

I think the jabsco, would do you, the compact, not standard, it has a larger bowl.seat, the pump is at the side on both, although the oulet pipe does exit at the back, it can be turned round, to exit sideways, most bigger chandlers will have one, for you to measure/look at.

i had exactly the same problem. the SL401 is no use but its little brother the SL400 will meet your needs. the mechanism is the same but the bowl is very shallow, only about 6" from mounting plate to rim.

of course they aren't made any more, they were discontinued some time before SL went belly-up but there are plenty around secondhand and parts are still available from YachtParts Plymouth.
