Tacktick wind transducer stopped rotating during the summer. Last time that happened it was new bearings at exorbitant cost so I tried DIY. Initially I tried rinsing with warm water but that had no effect. Examination of penetrating and suchlike oils at the local garage revealed that Wurth Ultra 2040 contained ptfe unlike the competitors. This sounded like a good thing so I bought [£4.50] and 2 or 3 squirts has set the transducer spinning merrily. Time will tell.
