Small Ships Registration in Cyprus?

Does anyone know if there is the equivalent to the UK's SSR available in Cyprus?

Anywhere else in the Eastern Med?

What does it cost?

I spent 3 1/2 years working in Cyprus. No SSR there as far as I'm aware. Why SSR in the Eastern Med particularly?

The yacht is permanently moored in Israel.

I have two quotes from a large insurance company, one from their branch in the UK, the other their German branch. The German quote is WAY, WAY below the UK quote, for almost double the cover!

The catch is that the German branch is not allowed to insure boats that are registered outside of their "territory", which the UK is of course.

As my UK registration has expired, I wanted to reregister her closer to home, in a country that the German branch will cover. The UK SSR cost and system is great and I was hoping to find something similar.
