small plastic tubing

Does anybody know of a manufacturer or supplier of small plastic tubing fittings? I need some braided 1/4 inch ID ish pipe (clear plastic) and some (professional) plastic fittings. the fittings that I actuually need are :-Tank fitting, nonreturn valve, elbows M-F,. At the moment all that I have found are poor quality aquarium (stamped out) plastic fittings and they are very limited I am sure that the medical world would have them? but I don`t have a clue as to who could supply them or where I could obtain a brochure! can anybody please help ( Oh! the fittings need to be plastic)

That Norgren site looks good for small bore tube and fittings. I note that the stuff is for air systems, would the stuff be ok for fuel?? also OD but no ID or wall thickness

Thanks for the replies but the norgren require copper pipe and Asap dont appear to do tank fittings and non return valves of the size I need? has anybody got any further suggestions. I will of course ring both norgren and asap on monday just to make sure

OK try here. I used air fittings to attatch my eberspacher fuel fipe to my plastic fuel tank....been fine for 4 years now!!

You say braided. If you mean reinforced then here is the sort of stuff http://www.aquafax.co.uk/html/product_details.asp?ID=13473 Maybe they also do the type of fittings you require. Maybe there is a stockist you can buy from.

Try the Bio-Bubble waste skip behind the chandlers in Emsworth Yacht harbour on a Friday- seriously.

They have to throw out a fair bit of all sorts air/water tight tubing when refurbng pumps etc- not for drinking water mind- they aerate farm slurry tanks & pits /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
