Small outboard

I've got a seagull that cost me £65. £80 would be tops from a boat jumble. They are so simple they are reliable. As long as you don't mind an oil slick behind you I'd recommend you get one.

Officially reconditioned seagulls might be expensive, but there are loads of second hand ones around. For help and advice on getting one up and running etc, the Saving Old Seagulls website is great fun.

quote........You ain't had noisy until you have taken a dinghy out for 2 hours to go angling driven by a seabee 4hp.........

i have a very lightwieght and vey noisy seabee 1.5hp minor. only as a back up as the noise would ruin the tranquility of a trip up river.. ultra reliable though but would always go for the 2.2 suzuki or a tohatsu
