Small outboard fuel hose

I'm overhauling my old Suzuki DT2.2 2 stroke. Anybody know where thin wall flexible fuel hose from tank tap to carb can be sourced.? Everywhere I look has heavy gauge hose that is just not flexible enough. It is 6mm ID I think. Phil

When / if we beat the corona virus, if/ when the travel restrictions are eased, if civilization as we know it still exists take the old hose ( or a fitting ) to your usual, local motor factor

It may be a long time before you are able to do that or need the new hose.

Alternatively order from your usual Suzuki outboard parts agent

Motor factors will tend to only stock the approved, reinforced fuel hose with thick walls and lots of text on it.
There are various people selling 6mm fuel hose on ebay by the metre.
The clear stuff seems to last a few years on things like strimmers.

You could try this?
1/4" BORE NEOPRENE RUBBER TUBE PIPE TUBING - FUEL PETROL AIR OIL HOSE PER METRE | eBay
Measure the fittings see if 1/4 will look slack.

Thanks for that, the strimmer stuff looks the ticket. A decent length for a couple of quid. I'll keep a spare length in the OB toolkit. (As suspected 1/4 in is a bit slack on the fuel tap end).

When First Mate and I were active in the motorcycle trade we kept rolls of ethanol proof fuel hose in various sizes.

4,5,6,7 and 8 mm ID. Some mopeds and scooters required small ID stuff.
