I am sure some-one will have gone through these decisions before me, but I am finding it harder to get the boats onto the roof of my car.
So I was thinking about a small trailer, but my boats are a mixed bunch, which includes a pram dinghy, an Iain Oughtred Sea Hen, 17ft grumman canoe and in the shed is a 17ft Jolly Boat.
Before somebody asks, no I dont want them all at once, but a trailer that could take any one or two would be great.
Any ideas.

You could make one for the largest boat and then have additional runners for the smaller ones. It is also possible to conceive of a trailer that uses its winch along with additional supports to put one boat above the other but this would be a bit more complex.

Hi.

You can easily buy additional rollers which can be with a bit of ingenuity made adjustable and moved around to fit your various boats to one proprietary trailer. At indespension stockists they can supply anything you want and can usually supply some good advice too.

Hope this helps.

Regards.

Thanks guys,
I obviously am going to have to do some shopping around but my local Indespension dealer is very helpful so I'll start there.

You could make a launching trolley for each boat and design them so that they can all be winched onto the same road trailer.
