Small boat - Scandinavia to India

I have less than 100 hours coastal keelboat experience. Is it possible to sail /motor small keelboat like maxi 26 from Scandinavia to Southern India. How much can be done on inland canals? How long would it take? Any similar journeys or guides available? Looks like I am in the wacky ideas forum so thought this would fit in well

There is a book by a Punjabi who was the first Indian to sail around the world, albeit in several different boats. One of his names was Khan and he was a customs officer in India. I suggest you get hold of that book. I can't remember the title or his full name as I gave teh book to me Seik dentist.

I should add that while he sank an Albin Vega in the Suez Canal, he did do a trip from England to India using the French Canals to the Med and then the Suez Canal to the Indian Ocean.

I don't know if there are any canals from Arabia or Europe that get to India. The Hindu Kush is a little formidable.
