Sloent tidal streams nr Needles

Can anyone recommend a publication for tidal streams in the solent - is ther anything more detailed than the Admiralty one?

+ when does the stream change from Yarmouth / Needles - to out going (how many hours after high water Portsmouth) - many thanks

(i) Reeves - Foulkes : "Manual of Tides" - Central Channel & the Solent ( or Sloent if you prefer !!!)

(ii) " Solent Tides " by Peter Bruce

both very good and not expensive, available @ the usual swindleries.

Can any kind soul tell me when the tide turns to the ebb flowing out of the Hurst Narrows / Neddles - how many hrs after HW Portsmouth?

Ebb starts at Hurst one hour before HW Dover and today there is 10 minutes between Dover 0910 and Portsmouth 0920

So it depends on when you are going ........
