Expect to get down to Preveza in Greece this summer and will need to fly back. Understand airport at Preveza runs domestic to Athens and charter flights. Anyone returned to UK from there? Whats the best way to go, where do you buy tickets, and how much should it cost?
Any suggestions welcome

We get to Corfu with Olympic or Aegean for the domestic flight then either Easyjet or olympic back to the UK from Athens. In the summer, there are plenty of direct charter flights try: http://levkas.net/flights/ or lastminute.com or thomsonflights.co.uk

There is a travel agent facing the front at Preveza Town towards the seaward end of the Town Quay that sells one-way charter flights back to the UK. They are only ever available six days before hand as the charter companies only know what is available going back when they know how many came out. It's all to do with how many people book 1 week and how many book 2 weeks. Alternatively, go on line with Sunsail Flights. They often have cheap flights both to and from Preveza.

Re: Or.....

Thanks to all who replied. Some good tips there especially Steve's link to Sailing Holidays who I should have thought of as we have done flotilla with them before.
I think MedMans tip to buy up spare tickets from local agent to get back is probably the way to go with Someone like SH or Sunsail on the way out.
Thanks again.....
