slight accident

had a slight accident today
typical english weather raining
so fast walking down the pontoon
decided it would be quicker to stretch round and get onboard through the back door instead of the side and slipped ended up in the bottom of the river

Been there done that - twice!
Friend was bringing his Sealine F36 to berth singlehand.
I shouted "want a hand". and he was delighted.
He put the bow to the pontoon and I hopped aboard.
He put her astern and I slid off the side deck.
Of course this happened in front of many spectators /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
He managed to berth Ok once I swam out of the way.
On a serious note - it's a bitch to climb back out again.
