I'm losing touch - but you all know that
What is this fascination with sleeping bags.
We have a queen sized berth with sheets, pillows and pillow cases and a Doona, or maybe you would recognise, duvet (both of which are simply fancy terms for an eiderdown). Most yachts have a decent forepeak or a Hilton Hotel style aft cabin - both of which will take 2 people plus sheets, pillows and a duvet. Even our X-99 had a double berth - though the comparison with a Hilton room would be difficult. To maintain a truly nautical theme our berth has a compass at the foot of the berth (next to the inward opening port light (which provides the ventilation), illuminated (warmly) so that we know when a front comes through (and its time to move on (or not).
If the need arises for alacrity - there are no zips or restraint for a panic stricken exit (not something I can find in the recesses of my memories).
Sleeping bags are for camping in tents, maybe, 4' high or are a derogatory term for.......
