I get really sad that some people seem to always want to slang orf some of the more colourfull characters. It doesnt matter what is said, they always seem to want to respond with vitriol. If you dont like what a poster does or says, use the "ignore" function. Otherwise you will destroy the friendliness of these forums and drive people away.

Well said, If you cant stand the heat get out of the kitchem.
I read, watch and post on the forman for fun/pleasure. Ok there are some posts that are maybe a little over the top but thats half the enjoyment.

Exactly.....surely if you don't llike what is written,, then you don't HAVE to read it. For myself, I like to read everyones comments, Some may I add. cause me much enjoyment just seeing how daft some 'complainers' are.

Drew.

I think your just trying to get to 10000 posts!
So keep the Topic's on here more relevant ie check out the Forum title.
If you want to zoom up to 10000 at least go to the correct Forum.
I mean, an experienced poster sutch as yourself ought to be able to navigate the Fori. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Fori forget. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gifI think the "ignore" button is the best piece of kit invented.
Never bother to stick My nose into the slanging matches . What a waste of time
Let the sad git's carry on if they want to .Just ignore.
This is such a great Forum.
During My boat's refit it has kept Me sane.
Haven't had as mutch trouble and strife as some Members like jezzbanks and others but enough to test My resolve.

The technical support I have been given by Members + the info that have recd by just reading the threads has been great.

Some of the humour is so hilareous and some is downright weird!

That's the way forward as they say.
Mobo chat Raggie chat it's all good stuff. That's what it's about, plus affin larf.
Yes let's have some good debate.
Just ignore the slaggers and they'l go away.
Best reaction / no reaction.
Hey I,m off. Starting to get serious. Now that will not do.

Just slapped me self on the wrist, silly boy! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

"affin a larf" see I even spelt that wrong.
It's difficult translating to S.E.S (Southern English Slang) from such a pure language as Welsh! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
"affin a larf"

What der yer call a Maypole with 6 sheep atached in Llannerchymedd?

A" Liesure Centre"! The Old ones are the best! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

"affin a larf"
Have you seen our Football team recently. You need one Hell of a sense of humour to sit through 90 mins of that! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Well said, the forum is big enough for everyone, can't understand why some have to get personal, buy hey I've had a great day on the water which is what it's all about, I guess it's the idle ones that have the time to bitch, life's too short for that /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

As you say the ignore button is great, as soon as the majority ignore those that keep having personal digs at others the better, and the quicker they will realise how pathetic and unwanted they are.

This forum has taught me an awful lot, it's nice to be able give back experiences to help others who are starting off, and you can never know everything about boating, that's the beauty of it, non stop learning /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

You oxymoron you.

I have a theory that you only use forums so that the deaf can hate you equally as much as everyone else!

Unfortunately, you seem to be one of the worst offenders. Even on this thread, you seem unable to resist potentially inflamatory comments such as 'it's the idle ones that have the time to bitch' and 'they will realise how pathetic and unwanted they are'. Hypocracy or what!

not since the rspca took the leasure center away

cant blame em though not right chaining sheep to lamp posts

(Sorry Mark, I've had to correct your spelling - again.)

You're right Kawasaki, he IS desperate to get to 10000 posts. After listening to him banging on over the dinner table about it I was so disgusted I asked Keith to delete post totals, well mine anyway.

Apparently that can't be done, so it's still "Never mind the quality, feel the width" round here.

Re: Slagging off people on these forums

I have noticed several people getting really anally retentive about spelling, and as for worrying about my 10,000 post, who cares, I certainly dont.

I post on here for my enjoyment and at the moment to get away from the pain in my hand following surgery.

congratulations, you are the first person who I have put on my "ignore this loser" list
