I have a Simpson Lawrence SL400 marine loo which has sprung a leak (after 20 years). Having purchased a 'refurb' kit in order to address the problem, I can't see how to dissemble the main pump assembly in order to replace the 'O' ring and spring on the spindle attached to the handle, not having a manual to refer to. Has anyone out there any experience of this?

Try phoning Simpson Lawrence at Glasgow ( dont have the Number ) they were very helpful to me a few years ago and faxed me an exploded drawing so I could put my loo back together again. Sold the boat since with the drawing.

I think I have an exploaded diagram on the boat somewhere - if you want it and will have a look and dig it out.

I also have a spare whole loo + some odds and sods to go with it.

If you can collect for Poole or Tolpuddle (near Dorchester) you an have them....

PS I swapped mine for a chemical loo - No smell, no blockage, no hasle.......

Thanks for your reply. I have now E-mailed Simpson Lawrence with my dilemma and await a response. Thanks again, John.

Thanks for your response. I'm in Burnham on Crouch, a bit too far away for collection. I've E-mailed Simpson Lawrence, so I hope to get some advice soon. Cheers, John

I'm looking for an SL400 toilet as the bowl of mine has cracked. Is your old one still available? I'm in Southampton. (diwp@mrc.soton.ac.uk)
