SL 72 Radar scanner wanted

I need a scanner to suit a discontinued Raymarine SL72 radar, any pointers please?

if you happen to find a second hand scanner for sale, if it is pre 2003 it will work with the SL72 you have. Better to get the more recent model, if not new, as it will work with your display and the more recent models, if you choose to upgrade at a later date.

I think the current scanners will work with the SL72 which is really only the radar only version of the RL70CRC (plotter and radar). Ring Raymaine technical support, they are excellent.

yes they do, that is the set up we already have. it was just that if bigwow buys a second hand one, he would need to know its year and compatibility with newer systems.

for sale next week. It is a just over a year old and has been used on a shore station. Only reason for selling is that it is being upgraded to an open array scanner.
