Has anyone got experience of using the Skipper Varnish System?
I'm about to strip the old varnish from the covering boards (side decks) of a 1965 cabin cruiser and want to replace with a varnish system which both looks good and is durable enough for regular walking on. I've always used Epifanes for everything on other boats, and indeed have just done so on this one for the cockpit, coamings, bulkhead, interior etc, but the professional Thames repair yard that have done work on the boat in the past seem to always use Skipper for virtually everything - probably because several coats can be put on in a day without sanding down, but they also reckon that Skipper is very hardwearing and durable for exterior work.
It would be nice to hear from anybody who has used Skipper and on what parts of the boat it was used.
Thanks
