:CALLOUT: 16-03-16 Team paged after a member of the public reported seeing a red distress flare just pass Aldeburgh martello tower. Team carried out a south search and quickly located a vessel grounded on Orford ness. Team carried out a search on the vessel and found one person on board shaken but in good spirit. Team then requested that RNLI Aldeburgh to be tasked to help tow the vessel off the beach. The ALB and ILB towed the vessel to orford quay. All teams was then stood down once the vessel was secured. Team would like to thank the first informer for reporting seeing the Distress flare.
