Ah the joys of non-boat ownership, eating out twice a week, interest payment on the current account, no worries about damp, condensation, vandalism, fuel bugs, stress cracking, osmosis, milky oil in the outdrive, press-studs pulling out of the aluminium frames..... you know the score.
But after six months respite, I've gone and done it again, bought another boat.
Just to make sure I'll be really skint, it's even one with a big 5.7 V8 petrol !! Thank god it's only got one, and I wont have to fill two holes in the transon this time!
The plus point is that is has a Bravo drive, so maybe the diesel swap'l be even easier this time.
Oh, and it's an American lake boat as well, but not sure if Rinker's have pop riveted hull/topside joints do they?
Any other Rinker owner regulars other than 'about to buy a Sealine' Big Al ??
Any one know much about 265's or 5.7's, and what the hell is Thunderbird, or was it bolt ignition?
And will it really use 20 gph at £4 a gallon............. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif
