Whilst walking round the boat yard yesterday, I was being nosey (as you do) looking at the state of hulls / anodes of other peoples boats. I noticed there was I think a Moody 36 of about 97 vintage. Which had a funny looking skin fitting. It looked like a sea cock but it had almost a kettle element in the shape of a figure of eight coming out of the hole sitting flush with outside of the hull. Possibly from the galley area.

Any ideas what it is for ? I've not come across one before.

I hope they are not trying to boil the sea up to make a cuppa......

TIA and Happy New Year

Tell Greenpeace quick you've found out the answer to global warming. Oh thank you Delf, now maybe they can stop wingeing about everything that moves that's not wind powered.
Strange that aint it. How much pollution do they cause travelling to all these "hot spots" of death and destruction to protest, on planes, boats and cars?
