I've just removed the seacocks (with the skin fittings as I couldn't budge the seacocks) as they were old gate type cocks which were seized open.

So now I need to replace, can anyone recommend a good supplier (any non boaty type suppliers?)

These are for the cockpit drains I was looking at plastic skin fittings, I gues these would be a no no for skin fittings below the water line?

Any recommendations would be grateful

Try ASAP supplies there you can spend as much money as you want. Depending how daring/foolhardy you are you can go for cheap brass, "tonval", bronze or gunmetal with prices to match. I would stay away from plastic below the water line as these things tend to crack unpredictably (unless you are talking about the Marelon type) in a very short time. Bronze or Gunmetal are the best.

Hi Sean
Don't even think of fitting plastic skin fittings below the waterline!
As John said try ASAP they will not bankrupt you for the proper fittings.

You will find 3 price ranges. Cheap are brass, perhaps chrome plate. Ignore. Second up are DZR which are most popular £15 or so for 3/4, £50 for 1 1/2. Top of the range are bronze from Vetus - £90 for 1 1/2. ASAP have all three, but you are likely to get similar prices from local chandlers (just bought one of each size DZR).
