A very basic question but want to make sure I've got it right.

I'm re bedding my garboard drain fitting and was wondering what sealant to use. After a little googling Sika 291i looks like the obvious choice.

Would you agree??

Agree 100% thats what i just used on both my skin fittings, i used black as fancied being different to plain old white. 291 is great stuff, would trust that than anything other sealant, epsecially when it comes to skin fittings.

Yep - have used 291i a few times for BWL fittings anode mounts, skin fittings - never any issues. I just make sure I have the best key possible on the surfaces and that everything is nice and dry before application.

Yes Sika 291, or 3M 4200 - both top quality, and similar to each other in terms of performance and practicalities, and suitable for BWL

These basic product names are sometimes supplemented by letters like FC for fast cure, UV for UV resistance, and i for i-cure whatever that is
