Hi all.
We have always had a rule on our boat that gentlemen (any MALE, even if not a gentleman) sits down to pee. Ladies too but they dont need to be told usually, mind you, I once knew a girl.......... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
We have lived on the boat for 3 years now and It is perfectly natural to me... I was "sat" today in our very nice spanish hospital and relalised that it has become so much habit I am doing the same ashore lol...
We never have arguments now about leaving the seat up, down etc.. never any "splashes", its safer in a seaway, by far. and the loo always smells clean, unlike some training boats frequented by male crew.. ughhhh !!!..
Wonder how many sailors adopt this rule, if you dont, try it.!
Just need to make it a MANS loo now, padded seat, foot rests, bookcase, beer pump and ash tray...
