And watching the planes on finals to Faro Airport about a mile away. Every two minutes at the mo, 737s and A200. 200ish per plane, 10 just landed with more in line! I dont think Portugal will make it difficult to visit next year!

Mate was doing some local flying quite a while back from Faro in a Cessna and was told to hold for priority trafic. He got a nice view of Concorde landing on it's PR tour.

Ive anchored around there a couple of times and they make a good alarm clock. :)

Must say, when none landing, very quiet with just the swish of the water in the salt marshes. I hadnt realised just how nice Faro is, we did some exploring whilst there, impressed!

I like that coast for cruising. Plenty of interesting places around the Lagoon.

Hows the weather? Got some piccies this morning from our friends back in Gib who run one of the Dolphin tourist boats. It was honking with rain. Same from another one who lives just north of Malaga.

No rain here for many months, well a few spits a few weeks ago when a thunderstorm just missed.

Situation normal, month after month of clear blue sky
