Just a few pics from the work day

Here she is, looking a little forlorn

How are we going to handle this bendy mast, then?

A welcome stop for lunch, brilliantly provided by Vreny and others. Many thanks!

Everyone worked very hard and we look forward to Sirenia being launched fresh and happy again before too long!

Well done all and good luck with whatever you decide on the insurance question Clive. Count me in when I get back for any refurb work I can help with.

Sorry I couldn't be there. I had committed some weeks ago to take the Sea Scout Watch Leaders sailing on my boat.

From taking to Helen (Mrs C) you clearly achieved a lot for Clive.

Wouldn't have been much help anyway as my back has just 'gone' again - 3rd time this week! All I did was lift a mug of tea.

Best of luck for the refurb Clive. If you need a weekend off to have a sail give me a shout I usually have space!

I can't thank all those who turned out to help enough.
Saturday's work party achieved more in 1 day than I could of managed in a month of Sundays.

Lenseman has taken a lot of "before we started photos".
He is sending them to me on a DVD.
Once I have them I will post a selection on here.

Before we left her last night we put about a foot of water in her as requested by the Surveyor.

Thanks to Jim (FullCircle) for the invite last night and to EastCoastBernie for the accommodation.

I went back this morning to see if the leak had showed it's self.
The only thing I could see was a small drip at the rear of the keel slot.
The surveyor is going to have a look for him self on Monday.

Again many, many thanks to all the workers.
I would be in a lot worse state that now without your selfless help.

Looking forward to getting her home and getting on sorting her out.
My aim is to be back on the water in time for Oostend next year at the latest.

CD in the post today, 244 photographs!

Plenty that can be used at a later date for bribing or cajoling at a future date especially where someone is trying to learn to juggle others trying to see if umbrellas really are water-proof and the alcoholics who slipped away to work on the 16th century "Mary Rose" project (wine tasting ). /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
