When we have done on Saturday I plan to go back to syh and do a few jobs on Beyond Reason. One of the jobs involves the use of a tap wrench. Guess what? I don't have one.

Does anybody who is coming on Saturday have a tap wrench they could bring with them so I could scrounge it for the day?

Thank you, but Jim has lent me what I required.

Fairly surreal moment when Clive offered me a tap wrench on Saturday. I looked at it quizzically and said 'how does that work then?'

He explained how you go round the back of the sink with it and grip hold of the bottom of the tap......

.... and I soon realised that we were not talking about the same sort of taps.

I was looking for the gadget that fits over a 'tap' that is used to make a thread for a screw.

It was all a bit like the famous Two Ronnies 'Fork Andles' sketch.
