While my bradwell 18 is ashore on its trailer this week being painted, I want to take the chance to sort out any skin fittings and leaks. Rather than post multiple threads about different issues all with a similar theme, I thought it would be easier to ask all my questions in one post, so apologies for the number of pics.
1) The sink has a drain to a skin fitting, see the pics below. There is a small drip from the tap in the hose sometimes, my question really though is, Is this system safe or should I replace it? The assembly connecting the drain and the skin fitting seems rather plasticky, and I do have a couple of blakes seacocks I refurbed, the smaller one couldnt be used as a direct replacement could it? And shouldn't there be some kind of anti siphon loop?

2) The transducer in the berth locker is always damp around it, and on occasion I hvae had a fair bit of water in there, though it could have come from leaking windows and stanchions before(sorted), and I have no idea of it was salt or fresh.
It looks like the previous owner had just smothered it in silicone, I cant see it on the underside of the hull so I assume it a tub siliconed to the hull and the transducer works through the fibreglass? Any suggestions for best way of removing it and sorting it out? AAlso, there is a broken lump in that locker, and I dont know if it is the hull deformed by an impact or a pile of goop that dripped. The washer in the pic for scale is 2cm diameter. What is the best way of dealing with this if it is a deformed hull? and best way of finding out? Again, cant see any specific dents on the underside.

3) Cockpit drain, this has always leaked into the stern locker. I'm almost certain it is the skin fittings, adding more gloop improved but didnt sort it. I tried removing the one into the cockpit, which had the most movement, and it snapped so its now removed
The rear one through the hull is proving more difficult but I guess its worth persevering with. My question is a) whats the easiest way to cut the flange on the replacement new ones? As you can see in the pic it has been shaped, I presume I can use the old one as a template and cut with a jigsaw? and b) What is the best way of sealing the new ones when I install them? I have and like butyl tape, is it worth wrapping some of that around the thread before I marry them up?

4)Another leak into stern locker possibility could be this brittle patch I found in the lower corner, probing with a screwdriver left it like this, which seems to be the glass fibre rather than right through? Regardless I need to fix it now, I presume I grind all the brittle bits back then use a couple of layers of fibreglass and epoxy resin?

5) This is the void (pic below) to the uphaul for my lifting keel, I removed it to free the stuck keel on lift out. Last time I did this I just put a layer of sika under the plate before screwing down, but I am wondering if I should a) fill the gouges and irregularities with resin first? and then b) use butyl tape rather than sika when I reattach the plate?

Thank you.
