Simrad VHF Extension Lead

Does anyone know where I could buy an extension cable for the handset of a Simrad 8000 series VHF system? It has a 6 pin phone type connector on one end and a bulkhead connector on the other. Or even if anyone knew of a suitable 6 pin bulkhead connector? Many thanks.

Why not have a go with a normal telephone extension lead, if it's the same connector. Got to be worth a go as the leads are so cheap!

I cut and spliced in an extra bit of cable to extend my microphone. Solder the wires and use heatshrink individually and overall to strengthen the join.

I tried the phone extension, but all of the connection boxes today only use 4 of the wires - the radio uses all 6.

I'll keep trying.
