I have a simrad wind indicator that the wind speed drive cups have come off but the wind direction is still intact. The display does not show the wind direction. are the two connected ie no wind speed no direction or is the mast head unit is faulty. I saw on the forum in the past a way of checking the mast head unit by measuring the resistance between the various wires going to the mast unit. The databox is ok as the depth and boat speed displays do work ok. Thanks for any help
