SIMRAD CA42 Fault

My Simrad CA42 Plotter /Radar has stopped working , have sent it to The Service Centre who say it is not repairable, has anyone found a sensible solution ie. can I install a new Simrad which will integrate with the existing cabling ?

He can advise on what exsisting kit onboard will or won’t work with newer Simrad gear.

What he doesn’t know about simrad isn’t worth knowing!
