Simpson 100 Davit cable replacement

Has anybody replaced their cables in these davits? Mine are at least 18ins too short now I have transferred them to my new boat.

In the Simpson spec there is no mention of available cable length or if you can have extra fitted. I have seen similar boats to mine with them or perhaps they might be the Whittall version.

The determining factor is the capacity of the winch when the wire is would on. The flexible stainless wire is available in uncut lengths from good rigging shops who will fit the correct end terminations as you require. Do not use rigging wire.
