Simpson 100 Davit Cable Replacement

I have just fitted my old Simpson 100 davits to my new boat.

The problem is that the cables are at least 18ins too short now because the davits are mounted much higher than previously.

Can the cables easily be replaced, and any ideas how much extra cable can be fitted inside?

Dunno, why not take a look ?? A yacht riigger will soon fit a longer cable.

As it happens I'm having new Simsons davits fitted this week, as some pillock bent me Whittals.

By the way I should have a pair of davits going cheap. One needs a bit of mending, cant see it being much sweat.
