Simple non Technical(ish)Raymarine RC520 Question.

Exactly which bunch of wires does a signal from the GPS take to get to a chart plotter.
Does it get there via SeaTalk or HSB wiring or what ?

If it is a Raymarine GPS then probably via Seatalk. If of other manufacture, then likely NMEA.

Depends how it's been installed. The RC520 can accept GPS data either via SeaTalk or via NMEA. The HSB connection is to enable more than one plotter to be interlinked.
