I have been looking at the Simarine battery monitoring systems but not quite sure what I need for my boat.

I have a house bank consisting of four 110 ah agm batteries and one 110 ah lead acid starter battery.

I want to be able to monitor battery voltage, solar input and also individual consumers like the fridge and electronics (plotter, additional screens etc). I may wish to add additional functions like fuel and water tank monitoring later.

Has anyone fitted these units or have any experience with them? It looks like a neat system but also quite expensive. Your thoughts appreciated.

I have the Pico One fitted so no ancillary load monitoring. House bank, starter, temperature and barometric pressure. I could add a tank gauge but haven't got round to it yet. I see no reason to monitor solar individually as I have that data from my victron controller so just total load in/out on the Pico is fine. Had it 3 years now with no problems.

The Pico is very versatile and has a wonderful display. Ours monitors the three solar panels plus the total battery current on the primary display with various temperatures, barometric pressure etc on the secondary pages.

I really just want to monitor the fridge usage etc because i have a 440ah bank that goes down to 75% overnight (according to ctek app) with only fridge, diesel heater and a few led lights. I would of expected that to be a very low usage given the capacity. I do however realise that the 300w solar input will be poor now we are approaching winter, just trying to do an audit to see whether I need to increase capacity or maybe my batteries are not as sound as I thought.
