Hi,
Thought I would add this note, to help anyone who needs a new paddle wheel for the obsolete Silva Star Sea Data. (AKA Nexus)
Turns out that Garmin has bought the design and is using it to produce their GST 43 log. So you can go to any marine Garmin dealer and ask for part no. 010-12344-00, Paddlewheel, GST 43
Cost me £20 - as opposed to £200+ to buy a new transducer and display - result!!
