Silva S10 Channel 37

Just installed a Silva S10 DSC radio. When going to a marina over the weekend, the almanac said it's channel for contact was 37. My radio (like many others), cannot use 37 so in the past I have used M1/2 (or P1/2 for some radios). However, the Silva S10 does not have an M1/2 or use of channel 37, anyone know how to contact channel 37 users with this radio ??

Have the same problem with the same radio and instead have to use the (Icom) handheld - a real pain during, for example, the RTI Race when you want to monitor the frequency for a prolonged period. Very interested also to know if anyone has the answer to your question.

Well gentlemen, I have to disagree. Have had a Silva S10 (now replaced under warranty by the similar rebadged Nexus due to internal battery failure) for the last couple of years, and that certainly had M1 and M2. Not directly selectable from the hand mike, but select channel 1, then down arrow gives M2, down arrow again gives M1.

If you select channell 88 and scroll up you will get to the aforesaid channels.
